Books. Books. Books.
I started off writing and illustrating puzzle and maze books. I really like planning and illustrating puzzles and hiding things in the pictures for people to find.
This picture is from my first maze book, The Lost Treasure of the Green Iguana.
After that, I wrote a couple of junior fiction books, and then I wrote the Stella Montgomery trilogy (Withering-by-Sea, Wormwood Mire and Wakestone Hall) which is for middle-grade readers.
I also illustrate picture books for younger readers. It’s been fun drawing the different characters. These sketches are for the bear cub in Too Tight Benito, which was written by Janeen Brian.
